Welcome to Rewire (“Rewire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”“). Rewire is a mobile‑ and web‑based platform that provides science‑backed tools, educational resources, and community features to help users change unwanted behaviors—including, but not limited to, pornography use—and build healthier habits. These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Rewire. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Rewire you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Agreement”). If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use Rewire.
1. Eligibility & Age Requirements
1.1 Minimum Age. You must be at least 16 year sold (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account or otherwise use Rewire. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf and supervise your use.
1.2 No Use by Children Under 13. Rewire is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
2. Health & Wellness Disclaimer — No Medical or Professional Advice
Rewire provides general information and habit‑change tools for educational and self‑improvement purposes only. Rewire is not a medical device, mental‑health service, or substitute for professional diagnosis, therapy, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician, therapist, or other licensed provider with any questions regarding physical or mental health. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of information obtained through Rewire. Use of Rewire is solely at your own risk.
3. Account Registration & Security
3.1 Account Creation. Certain features require registration. You agree to provide true, complete, and current information and to update it as needed.
3.2 Credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@rewireapp.com of any unauthorized use or security breach.
3.3 One User = One Account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, transferred, or sold.
4. Subscription Plans, Trials & Billing
4.1 In‑App Purchases. Rewire offers optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium content and features (the “Subscription”). Pricing, subscription periods, and benefits are displayed within the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (collectively, the “App Stores”) and in‑app.
4.2 Payment Processing. All payments are processed by the App Stores, not by Rewire directly. Your payment method on file with the relevant App Store will be charged at purchase confirmation and, for auto‑renewing plans, within 24 hours prior to the end of each billing period.
4.3 Auto‑Renewal & Cancellation. Subscriptions automatically renew at the then‑current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage and cancel your Subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app alone does not cancel your Subscription.
4.4 Free Trials. If Rewire offers a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Unless you cancel during the trial, the Subscription will convert to a paid plan and auto‑renew as described above.
4.5 Refunds. Refund requests are handled by the App Stores per their respective policies. Rewire has no authority to issue refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google.
5. License & Acceptable Use
5.1 Limited License. Rewire grants you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the app solely for your personal, non‑commercial use on any device you own or control—and, with respect to Apple‑branded products, only as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules—and strictly in accordance with these Terms.
5.2 Prohibited Conduct.
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available content that is unlawful, harassing, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory;
- Attempt to decompile, reverse‑engineer, disassemble, or otherwise derive source code from the app;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of Rewire, its servers, or networks;
- Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or spiders) to access Rewire without our prior written permission;
- Impersonate any person or entity or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
5.3 Community Features. When posting or interacting with others you must adhere to our Community Guidelines (which may be published in‑app). Rewire may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Guidelines.
6. User Content & License Grant
6.1 Your Content. You may submit text, images ,audio, or other materials (“User Content”) in Rewire. You retain all ownership rights to your User Content.
6.2 License to Rewire. By submitting User Content you grant Rewire a worldwide, royalty‑free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving our services.
6.3 User Content Warranty. You represent that you have all necessary rights to your User Content and that posting it does not infringe or violate anyone’s rights or any law.
7. Intellectual Property
The app, including all software, content, trademarks, service marks, logos, and other intellectual property (collectively “Rewire IP”),is owned by Rewire or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 5.1, no rights are granted to you and all rights are expressly reserved.
8. Privacy
Your use of Rewire is also governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. By using Rewire you consent to those practices.
9. Third‑Party Services & Links
Rewire may contain links or integrations with third‑party content and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for such third‑party content, accuracy, policies, or practices.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Rewire is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties—express, implied, statutory, or otherwise—including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free, or that any content is accurate or complete, and we make no guarantee of results.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rewire, its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) Rewire—whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability to you for all claims will not exceed the greater of (a) USD 100 and (b) the amount you paid to Rewire for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rewire and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any third‑party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use or misuse of Rewire, (b) your User Content, or (c) your breach of these Terms.
13. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to Rewire, delete your account, and/or remove content at any time—immediately and without notice—if we believe you have violated these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or to protect the security or integrity of our service. Upon termination, your license to use Rewire will automatically end.
14. Changes to the Service & to These Terms
We may modify, update, or discontinue Rewire (or any part of it) at any time, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top indicates when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use after changes become effective signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law rules.
15.2 Informal Resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute by emailing support@rewireapp.comwith a brief description of the issue. If we cannot resolve the dispute within30 days, either party may initiate formal proceedings.
15.3 Binding Arbitration & Class‑Action Waiver (US Users). Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Rewire that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You and Rewire waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions or class‑wide arbitration. This section does not apply where prohibited by law.
15.4 Venue for Non‑Arbitrable Claims. Where arbitration is not required, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sheridan, Wyoming.
16. App Store Platform Terms
16.1 Apple App Store If you download Rewire from Apple’s App Store, the following terms apply in addition to the rest of these Terms:
- Parties. These Terms are solely between you and Rewire, not Apple Inc.
- Scope of License. The license granted herein is limited to a non‑transferable license to use Rewire on any Apple‑branded product you own or control and as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
- Maintenance & Support. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to Rewire; Rewire will be solely responsible for providing such services.
- Warranty. In the event of any failure of Rewire to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted bylaw, Apple will have no other warranty obligation.
- Product Claims. Rewire, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any product‑liability claim, claim that Rewire fails to conform to applicable legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer‑protection or privacy law.
- Intellectual‑Property Claims. In the event of any third‑party claim that Rewire or your possession and use of Rewire infringes a third‑party’s intellectual‑property rights, Rewire will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
- Third‑Party Terms. You must comply with applicable third‑party terms of agreement (for example, your wireless‑data service agreement) when using Rewire.
- Third‑Party Beneficiary. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these Terms and, uponyour acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third‑party beneficiary.
16.2 Google Play If you download Rewire from Google Play, you acknowledge that Google LLC is not responsible for Rewire and that Google Play’s terms of service also govern your use. Google Play is at hird‑party beneficiary of these Terms.
17. Export Compliance & Sanctions
You may not use or otherwise export or re‑export Rewire except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rewire was obtained. In particular, Rewire may not be exported or re‑exported (a) into any U.S.‑embargoed countries or (b) to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Nationals or theU.S. Department of Commerce Denied Persons List.
18. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. These Terms (together with any additional policies referenced herein) constitute the entire agreement between you and Rewire regarding your use of Rewire and supersede any prior agreements (written or oral) relating to the subject matter hereof.
